A comprehensive solution is available for static
fatigue testing in two-point bending. Included are precision bore tubes for
applying a bending stress, acoustic sensors for detecting failure, a
Four
Channel Trigger Box for conditioning the signals from the acoustic sensors
and a Trigger Box Monitor system that interfaces 32 or 64 separate
experiments (sensors) to a PC for logging and analyzing the resulting data.
- Four Channel Trigger Box
- Monitors up to four acoustic sensors to detect fiber breaks. The
Trigger Box has digital TTL outputs for connection to data logging
systems, such as the Trigger Box Monitor system. It also has analog
pulsed outputs that can be connected to a chart recorder to log the
breaks.
- This page includes ordering information for the acoustic sensors
as well as precision bore tubes that can be used to stress the fibers.
- Trigger Box Monitor
- Connects to 8 trigger boxes and interfaces to a PC. The system
includes software that logs fiber breaks and performs statistical
analysis of the results.
